Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
AuSnap! ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data.
Information we collect
- Account data — email address and (optionally) display name when you create an account.
- Content you create — journal entries, favorites, and community posts. Journal entries and favorites are private to you.
- Contact form messages — your name, email, and message when you write to us.
- Basic technical data — browser type, device type, and pages visited (for security and site performance).
How we use information
We use information to operate the site, secure accounts, respond to messages, and improve content. We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell it.
Security
Account data is stored on a managed cloud backend with row-level security, so each account only has access to its own private data. Passwords are hashed and never visible to us.
Children
AuSnap! is intended for parents and caregivers, not children. Do not create accounts on behalf of minors. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for sign-in and basic site function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact@ausnap.org. You can also unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send.
